Roam call ringtone—Change the ringing tone when receiving calls while roaming.
Service change tones—Enable a tone to indicate when entering a roaming or
home network area.
Other settings
Select Menu > Settings > Other settings to set up voice commands, enhancements,
security, and network settings. You can also restore factory defaults from this menu.
Voice navigation
You can set up to six voice commands in Voice navigation, which allow hands-
free operation of certain phone features.
1. Select Menu > Settings > Other settings > Voice navigation.
2. Select a function option to which you want to add a voice command, and Add.
3. Select Start, and speak the voice command clearly into the microphone.
Do not select Quit unless you want to cancel the recording.
The phone replays, then saves the recorded voice command. appears next
to the function option for which you add a voice command.
After you have associated a voice command tag with a phone function, select
and hold Names, and speak the voice command tag to access the tagged function.
Enhancements
Select Menu > Settings > Other settings > Enhancements. You can select
an enhancement menu if the phone is or has been connected to a compatible
enhancement type. Depending on enhancement, select from the following options:
Default profile—Choose the profile you wish to be automatically activated when
a headset, car kit, or loopset is connected.
Automatic answer—Answer calls automatically after one ring when a headset,
car kit, loopset, or charger is connected. Select On or Off.
Lights (for Handsfree or Charger only)—Choose to keep the phone lights always
on, or to shut off automatically after several seconds. Select On or Automatic.
If the Loopset is connected and recognized through the Pop-Port™ connector,
the phone automatically uses the Loopset.
Use TTY (network service)—Connect to a TTY/TDD device. Check with the manufacturer
of the TTY/TDD device for a connecting cable that is compatible with your phone.
Check with your service provider for availability and description of services.
Hearing aid—Optimize sound quality. You can set you phone to couple to a
T-coil-equipped hearing aid. Only activate the T-coil hrng. aid mode when using your
device with a hearing aid or it may impact the audio performance of the device.
