Messages

Scale image down—Define the image size when you insert an image to
a multimedia message.
Default slide timing—Define the default time between slides in multimedia messages.
Allow MMS receptn.—Receive or to block multimedia messages. If you select
In home network, you cannot receive multimedia messages when outside your
home network.
Incoming MMS msgs.—Allow the reception of multimedia messages automatically,
manually after being prompted, or to reject the reception.
Allow ads—Receive or reject advertisements. this setting is not shown if Allow
MMS receptn. is set to No.
Folders
The phone saves received text and multimedia messages in the Inbox folder.
Multimedia messages that have not yet been sent are moved to the Outbox folder.
To save the text messages (SMS) that you write and wish to send later, select
Options > Save > Drafts or Templates. To save multimedia messages (MMS) that you
write, select the Options > Save; the message is stored in the Saved items folder.
To organize your text messages, move some of them to My folders or add new
folders for your messages. Select Menu > Messages > Text messages > My folders.
If you have not saved any folders, select Add fldr.. To add an additional folder,
select Options > Add folder.
To delete or rename a folder, scroll to the desired folder, and select Options >
Delete folder or Rename folder.
Memory full
When you have received a new text message and the message memory is full,
blinks and indicates that the memory is full. Select No, and delete some messages
from a folder. To discard the waiting message, select Exit > Yes. When you have a
new multimedia message waiting and the memory for the messages is full,
blinks and Multimedia mem-ory full. View waiting message. is shown. To view the
waiting message, select Show. Before you can save the waiting message, delete old
messages to free memory space. To save the message, select Save.
To discard the waiting message, select Exit > Yes. If you select No, you can view
the message.
