To write text with the keypad, press a number key, 2-9,
repeatedly until the desired character is displayed.
There are more characters available for a number key
than are printed on the key. If the next letter is located
on the same key as the present one, wait until the
cursor is displayed, and enter the letter.
To insert a number, press and hold the number key.
To switch between the different character cases and
modes, press #.
To erase a character, press the backspace key. Press and
hold the backspace key to erase more than one
character.
To enter the most common punctuation marks, press
1 repeatedly until the desired punctuation mark is
displayed.
To add special characters, press and hold *.
To insert a space, press 0. To insert a line break, press
0 three times.
Predictive text input
With predictive input, you can enter any letter with a
single keypress. Predictive text input is based on a
built-in dictionary.
To activate or deactivate predictive text input, select
Options > Input options. The indicator
is
displayed. When you start writing a word, your device
suggests possible words. When the correct word is
found, press the space key (0) to confirm it and to add
a space. While writing, you can scroll down to access a
list of suggested words. If the desired word is on the
list, select the word. If the ? character is displayed after
the word, the word you intended to write is not in the
dictionary. To add a word to the dictionary, select
Spell, enter the word using traditional text input, and
select OK. When the dictionary is full, the new word
replaces the oldest added word.
To deactivate automatic word completion, select
Options > Input options > Settings.
To change the writing language, select Options >
Input options > Writing language.
Search
About Search
Select Menu > Applications > Search.
Search enables you to use various internet-based
search services to find, for example, websites, and
images. The content and availability of the services
may vary.
Start a search
Select Menu > Applications > Search.
To search the contents of your mobile device, enter
search terms in the search field, or browse the content
categories. While you enter the search terms, the
results are organised into categories.
To search for web pages on the internet, select Search
the Internet or a search provider, and enter your
search terms in the search field. The search provider
